A letter for you

Dear you,

A circle can hold a surprisingly irregular landscape. Here, the black round frame gives you a simple outline, but the wood inside follows its own grain, knots and natural edges. We like that contrast. The frame is easy to read; the centerpiece takes longer, especially where the preserved moss and fern accents gather around the wood.

We do not see the wood as a space that needs to be filled. Its visible character is part of what you are choosing. Moss adds depth beside it, and the fern details introduce another shape into the arrangement. These materials ask for different kinds of attention, which is why the whole piece can feel quite different from a single decorative pattern.

There may be a place in your home where a round form makes sense among straighter lines: near a shelf, beside a doorway, or on a wall you pass often. We hope this piece gives that place a detail worth noticing. Its wood and arrangement can vary, but the relationship between the clear circle and the less regular materials remains at its heart.

With care,
