About this piece

Bring the Forest Home — Real Preserved Moss Wall Art

Imagine stepping into your room and feeling the calm of a mossy forest — no watering, no sunlight, no pruning. Just pure, vibrant greenery that stays fresh for years.

This handcrafted wall art is made with real preserved reindeer moss and your choice of a cedar wood or black aluminum frame, carefully assembled by artisans who treat each piece as a unique composition. The moss is preserved using a non-toxic, eco-friendly process that locks in its natural softness and rich green hues — so it never fades, never wilts, and never needs a drop of water.

Because each piece is hand-assembled from natural materials, you'll notice subtle variations in texture, density, and color distribution. That's not a flaw — it's the signature of authenticity. No two are exactly alike, making your wall art truly one of a kind.

A letter for you

Dear you,

Not every piece of art needs to take over a room. We like the idea of this round piece being something you notice in passing: beside your desk, among familiar pictures, or on a wall you see when you come home. Its circle gives the preserved reindeer moss a clear boundary, while the green surface keeps that shape from feeling too formal.

The frame changes how you read it. Cedar wood brings its own grain into the composition; black aluminum offers a cleaner outline around the moss. Neither needs to compete with the texture inside. We assemble the natural material by hand, and small differences in density and color distribution are part of what you will see, rather than details erased to match a photograph.

We hope it becomes a familiar part of your space, not an object that asks you to rearrange your life around it. There is no watering to remember. What remains is the pleasure of looking closely at a small area of greenery and finding that a simple circle can hold quite a lot of detail.

With care,

Your makers at Oh Handmade
